Publications have been reporting that Twilight is losing out on millions of dollars because it lacks an official video game.

Being a video game fan myself, I’m going to have to agree. Although the usual crap that low budget developers throw together with movie franchises won’t cut it.

“Given how hot a property it is, Twilight could easily present a seven-figure exploitation opportunity, especially if publishers look at taking it beyond retail gaming and considers network gaming,” Games Investor Consulting analyst Nick Gibson has told MCV.

Since the movies have already made millions of dollars, a video game would be another outlet for huge profits. Stephanie Meyer and J.K. Rowling however, are both held responsible for inspiring reading and creativity in millions of people, making their profits worthy.

Someone should be tapping into this market, with a quality game, not something thrown together.

Finally after what has seemed like ages, the Twilight: Eclipse trailer has finally been released. Honestly its kind of disappointing but I am sure that they will release another Twilight: Eclipse trailer in the next couple of weeks that will be even better. It seems that this is what most studios are doing lately, as in the case with Iron Man 2. They released one trailer but then released another one that revealed more footage a week later. Hopefully this will be the case with Twilight: Eclipse. Despite this trailer, it still does get me very excited for the movie and what will be the third installment of the awesome Twilight Saga.

With all of the rumors going around about whether these two Twilight Stars are dating, it seems that some images have surfaced that might prove the ongoing rumors. (Will they really ever stop though?). It seems that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted cuddling and kissing in London.

According to some lame magazine, Robert and Kristen have officially told them that they are together, but like I said, that magazine is lame and you should take anything they say with a grain of salt. Actually make that a half grain of salt.

So are they really dating? Some people say that seeing is believing and I haven’t seen any official pictures yet. If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are indeed dating then I guess we will find out in the next couple of months when the hype for Eclipse starts building up. As far as these two, I could see how having an actual relationship in real life would benefit their roles in the Twilight movies. Having a real, solid relationship can really help carry that chemistry over onto the set and can make Robert’s and Kristen’s relationship that much more believable on the big screen. Hopefully the spottings of the two dating in London are true and we’ll see them just officially announce it with a credible news source so all of these rumors are finally put to rest.

It looks like the super-franchise that is Twilight really can boost someone’s career. Taylor Lautner has just landed another role, adding yet another project to his steadily growing list of movies in the making. It is a movie called Abduction about how a guy finds his baby picture on a missing child website. This obviously freaks him out and he starts his search to find out what the deal is. Sounds like another movie rehashed to put Taylor in the spotlight.

With this movie and others coming up, including Breaking Dawn, Taylor Lautner will indeed be a busy man in the next year.

I see a ever growing trend for other studios to pick up these actors and actresses from the Twilight saga in order to help their sales. We’ll see if the huge fan base is willing to see other movies with these mega stars in them besides Twilight. Twilight News Now

It looks like Kristen Stewart wins a “Rising Star” award at the BAFTA awards in London. Although the judges went beyond her merits as Twilight star, it looks like the super star fame from the movie and her role in it probably helped. The Rising Star award is a memorable award to receive at such a young age. I am sure that there are many more awards in Kristen Stewart’s future. Let’s see if she wins any for her upcoming role in Eclipse!

Robb Pattinson or Kristen Stewart? These two Hollywood stars are back for another round of solo movies that are completely unrelated to Twilight. With Pattinson debuting Remember Me on March 12th and Stewart playing in The Runways on March 19th (She is also in The Yellow Handkerchief but I’m sure that will be a total flop). To be fair, Remember Me comes from Summit Entertainment and, as such, is fortunate enough to be carrying the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I will guarantee you that some  people who have no interest in this movie will buy tickets just to see the trailer for Eclipse. (I know how die-hard we Twilight fans are!). Meanwhile, The Runaways has a handful of mediocre reviews and a much talked-about make-out scene. Despite this, I’m willing to bet that people will still want to see Pattinson over Stewart. Especially considering that 90% of Twilight fans are women.

Even with all the hype surrounding the actor and actress, I really don’t see these movies making any significant money at the box office. If neither of these two can step away from the  Twilight franchise and help a movie earn at the box office, then their careers may seem mundane. It’s ironic to see that both of them have risen to superstar fame, yet people only want to associate them with Twilight and nothing else. If these two movies make an impact (which I’m betting they won’t) then I’ll shut up. But until then we’ll see just how far their fame can take these two unrelated movies.

Kristen Stewart just recently talked to MTV news about some of the scenes in the upcoming Eclipse movie.

Well, to decide you’re gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision. And I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?

She told MTV that she wanted a scene that is this pivotal to the plot seem important and not seem like it was just out of lust, but out of love.

Good news! The long anticipated Eclipse trailer will be previews before Rob Pattinson’s latest movie, Remember Me. This was posted by the official Facebook Twilight account:
